About Dream Thyme Farm
We fell in love with our farm the moment we saw it. We knew this was where we would raise our
family. We pictured orchards, ponds, streams, woods, pastures, animals and flowers. And we got
more than what we wished for. This farm was our dream that we had looked for.
We have had our share of births here, many different animals, all just as special as the next.
There have been many that have occurred and many more to come, I am certain. The one that hit
home for me was our first filly. Morgaine, a Chestnut Missouri Fox Trotter. She was what I wished
for since I was a little girl. I wanted a horse to have a foal on my farm someday. When Morgaine
was born, I sat down and cried while she stared at me with those big brown eyes. This is when I
knew that dreams could definitely come true. I don't think any other animal has been kissed as
much as her.
It has been a work in progress. There are always projects to be done, barns and fencing to build,
and things to plant. But it doesn't matter to us how much work we have to do, it is fun. There is a
magic that comes with owning a farm. From the first filly, the newborn cria, the chicks that hatch,
the ducklings taking their first swim, to the farmcollies who do amazing things.
There is nothing better than the sound of a child's laughter mixed in with the farm sounds. It is
what we do this for. It is, and always will be, our dream that came true.
